what reason grds09 might have that made him decide to sign up for a Twitter and Tumblr account. Is it because he was bored? Is it because someone forced him to do it? Is it out of curiosity? Is it because, like me, he’s had a sudden epiphany of how people’s lives would be infinitely better if they are constantly updated with historical, mind-boggling, world-saving, war-stopping, Africa-feeding, whale-saving tweets and blogs?
Hmm.

red..i’m honored that i’ve inspired a blogpost..i’m so inspirational..hahaha
i did twitter because a guest speaker in my class mentioned it’s the new frontier for marketing and business and we should be familiar with it. When he did a vote of who uses it, nearly everyone raised their hand and i was pretty embarrassed since i was one of the few who didn’t. I’m usually one of the early adopters of new technology, but i found twitter to be pointless so i passed.
i joined just so i’m familiar with how to use it. Even after using it, I still think it’s pointless. it’s like text messaging through a third party, except it goes to everyone and you get pointless tweets from people like ‘why does my shit look green?’ or ‘i just woke up and now i’m brushing my teeth’. O_O
Tumblr is pretty fun, haha. I love that i can do a picture blog so easily, plus I’ve always wanted to start a blog. I’m fine-tuning it in anticipation of my trip to east asia.
thats one long ass comment, sorry about that red. I’ll start a blog soon and let the world read my thoughts.
